The China Zoological Society is a national, academic and non-profit organization voluntarily formed by scientific and technological workers in the field of zoology across the country and related institutions. It serves as a bridge and link between the Party and the government and the vast number of zoology scientists. It is an important social force promoting the development of zoology science and technology in China. This organization is subject to the business guidance and supervision of the China Association for Science and Technology as the business supervisory unit and the Ministry of Civil Affairs as the registration management authority.
