Resume:

Born in Feb. 1970 in Henan Province, China. PhD in 1997 at Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Curator in Insect Section of National Zoological Museum of China. Working on taxonomy of ground beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae). Visits to US and Japan several times for collaboration, established tight relationship with specialists in US, Japan, Italy, Germany and Russia for Carabidae research. Won twice (in year 2005 and 2007) second-rate prize of National Advancement in Technology Awards. One outstanding paper (Coleopterists Bulletin, 2007) awarded by American Coleopterological Society. In the near future, focusing on taxonomy of Oriental Carabidae, Crioceridae and Hispidae. Supervising four students for master degrees studying Chlaeniini and Lebiini of Carabidae, Crioceridae, and Hispidae respectively.

Research Interests:

Biology and ecology of crop aphids; taxonomy on ground beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae).
