Safety Guidelines for Holidays

Absence and Leave

During holidays, students intending to leave and go out for touring must submit application to their relevant institutes to get corresponding permission. After getting institutes’ permission, students must also report to the International Student Office (ISO) of the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Upon returning, students must report to their institutes as well as ISO.

Tips before Leaving

• Please have a thorough examination of your all electric appliances, and water taps and shut off electricity and water completely.
• Close all windows and doors.

Tips on Touring

• Safely keep passports, money and credit card
• For personal safety, don’t start a quarrel or fight with others in any case
• Don’t join unauthorized meeting or parties
• Never use electric stove in rooms.

ISO Watch

ISO will keep on watch during the holiday. In case of emergency, students should contact ISO staff immediately.
