Professor Chen Quan’s group in the State Key Laboratory of Biomembrane and Membrane Biotechnology (LBM) in the Institute of Zoology (IOZ), Chinese Academy of Sciences is seeking 1-2 candidates for a full-time postdoctoral fellowship. Successful candidates should hold Ph.D. degree with a competitive publication record. Good communication skills, teamwork spirit and hard working are required.

Successful candidates will participate in cutting-edge research in the areas of apoptosis, mitochondrial biology and cancer stem cells. Previous experiences in molecular cell biology, cancer biology are welcome. Experiences in biophysics and bioinformatics are plus. Chen’s laboratory is part of the State Key Laboratory of Biomembrane and Membrane Biotechnology, a jointly operated laboratory between Institute of Zoology, CAS and Peking University and Tsinghua University. The Key laboratory is equipped with the state-of-the art research facilities and has excellent scientific environments.
