The new established ES immunology lab focus on advanced studies on pluripotent stem cells including: Understanding the immunogenicity of pluripotent stem cells; Inducing immune tolerance to derivatives of pluripotent stem cells; Directed differentiation and Reprogramming mechanisms.

Under supervision of the principal investigator, incumbent will perform a number of duties including performing research projects, writing papers, drafting research proposals, regularly attend and contribute to research meetings et al.

Qualifications

Theoretical knowledge in ES/iPS, immunology, biochemistry, developmental biology, bioinformatics, molecular biology and other related fields;

Proven ability to conduct biomedical research independently and experienced technique to write scientific papers;

Experience working with ESCs, iPSCs and animal models is a prior consideration;

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) required to interacting professionally and effectively in the research environment.
