What you should do but not be limited to:

1.Participate in functional bio-ink research and development of joint projects; Tissue and organ printing; Optimize 3D printing platform.

    2.Carry out the project independently.

3.Writing project reports, grant applications, and journal/conference papers.

4.Managing lab-related activities (ordering consumables, planning various experiments in the lab, etc.).

5.Supervising and training students in the related field.

    About us

Gu’s research group is dedicated to the researches including the development of functional biomaterials, the design of bio-printing platform, the combination of 3D/4D bio-printing with stem cells, three-dimensional organ reconstruction and the regulation of biomaterials on the cell fate. Through the intersection and integration of biology, materials science, chemistry, informatics, engineering, electronics and other multidiscipline to accomplish the exploit of biomaterials, 3D bionics and the reconstruction of organs and tissues, which may lead the development of intelligent regenerative medicine. The research team has an enterprising academic atmosphere and a competitive research platform, which has undertaken and presided over a series of major projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Wang’s research group is committed to organically combining the conductive polymers and the specific recognition of bioactive molecules to design a new type of conductive polymer materials with bioactivity and study their biological recognition and sensing mechanism, which could be developed in the brand-new biosensing system with high sensitivity and selectivity. In this system, biological macromolecules and indispensable biochemical reactions could be detected. And this novel technique could be utilized to do preclinical diagnosis and treatment. The research team has an active academic atmosphere and a complete scientific research platform, which has undertaken and presided over a series of projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology as well as the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
