Two courses on 《Advanced Animal Taxonomy》and 《Advanced Animal Evolution》were taught by Dr. Song Jiakun, a research professor from University of Maryland, and Dr. Zhao Ning, a professor from the Federal University of Amazon in Brazil from Sept. 5 to Sept. 10 in the Institute of Zoology, CAS. Besides Institute of Zoology, the participants, including research scientists and Ph.D. students, came from Institute of Oceanology,CAS ; Chengdu Institute of Biology,CAS;  Kunming Institute of Zoology,CAS;  Nakai University, China Agricultural University, Sichuan University, Guizhou Normal University, Beijing Normal University and Shanghai Fisheries University. The total number was more than 90. Deputy director Zhang Dexing made a speech on behalf of the Institute.
