The International Training Course: New Trends and Methodology in Animal Ecology and Conservation Biology was held by the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the International Society of Zoological Sciences (ISZS), with support from the International Cooperation Bureau in Beijing, 18‐26 August 2011.
The training session was pleased to host more than one hundred scholars from more than thirty countries promoting new theories, changes, and developments in methodology of animal ecology along with promoting new technologies in the field.
The training was successful in its hope to enhance the academic understanding and innovation of animal ecology and conservation biology, and facilitated communication among animal ecologists and conservationists.
