5th International Symposium of Integrative Zoology
Beijing, China, 25–28 June 2013
The International Society of Zoological Sciences (ISZS) will hold the 5th International Symposium of Integrative Zoology (5th ISIZ) 25–28 June 2013, Beijing, China. The theme of the symposium is Biological Consequences of Global Change (BCGC) (For details, please see the attached BCGC flyer). As a result, the 5th ISIZ also endeavors to provide a platform for scientists around the world to share information and data on BCGC, to exchange research results and techniques and to plot out a practical approach to establish a working mechanism for international data analysis and sharing.
The tentative topics of this symposium include:
- Global change and biodiversity change
- Global change and endangered species conservation
- Global change and agricultural pests
- Global change and wildlife born diseases
- Global change and biological invasion
- Others
Currently, the Organizing Committee is seeking symposium organizers. If you are interested in organizing one of the above-mentioned sub-symposia, or you wish to suggest another topic to be included, please contact us as soon as possible. Submission on related topics is welcome.
ISZS EC and institutional members will meet during the 5th ISIZas well.
