Beijing, China, 25–28 June 2013

The International Society of Zoological Sciences (ISZS) will hold the 5th International Symposium of Integrative Zoology (5th ISIZ) 25–28 June 2013, Beijing, China. The theme of the symposium is Biological Consequences of Global Change (BCGC) (For details, please see the attached BCGC flyer). As a result, the 5th ISIZ also endeavors to provide a platform for scientists around the world to share information and data on BCGC, to exchange research results and techniques and to plot out a practical approach to establish a working mechanism for international data analysis and sharing.

The tentative topics of this symposium include:

Global change and biodiversity change
Global change and endangered species conservation
Global change and agricultural pests
Global change and wildlife born diseases
Global change and biological invasion
Others

Currently, the Organizing Committee is seeking symposium organizers. If you are interested in organizing one of the above-mentioned sub-symposia, or you wish to suggest another topic to be included, please contact us as soon as possible. Submission on related topics is welcome.

ISZS EC and institutional members will meet during the 5th ISIZas well.

Online registration is encouraged. To do your registration online, please visit the official website at: http://isiz5.csp.escience.cn

You may also register on site at the Registration Desk in Beijing. However, you will have to pay an extra late-payment fee, in addition to the registration fee.

Participant's Badge

The participant's badge may be collected from the Registration Desk. This badge is available only to the invited representative of ISZS institutional members, EC Members and Officers and those who have paid the registration fees.

Registration Fee

The registration fee before 15 June 2013 is US$200 for ordinary attendees and US$100 for students or accompanying guests. After this, the registration will be US$300 and US$150 respectively. Extra fees will be charged for those who wish to exhibit products or devices during the Symposium. The registration fee does not cover local accommodation or insurance (but covers the Reception/ISZS dinner and lunch during the meeting).

Refund Policy

The Secretariat incurs costs immediately upon the registration of a participant. If no other costs are incurred, there will be a processing fee (20% of the registration fee you paid) for a refund.
