The 4th meeting of the third session of scientific committee of the State Ley Lab of Integrated Management of Pest Insects and Rodents was held in the Institute of Zoology, CAS, from April 6 to April 7, 2005. Mr. Zhang Yan-Dong from the Ministry of Science and Technology , Dr. Zhu Zhen Lou Zhi-ping , Duan Zi-yuan and Zhou Nai from CAS, were invited to attend the meeting. All the committee members attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Wang Zuwang who is the Chairman of Scientific Committee. Prof. Kang Le, director of the State Key Lab, reported the research and work progress to the committee. There are 54 papers were published in SCI journals and two of them are higher than 10 in impact factor. Five National Patents have been granted and one new insecticide has got the certificate.
