Resume:

Liu Wang, associate professor of Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was born in November, 1969, Heilongjiang Province. Liu Wang obtained a Ph.D. in Agriculture from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2001, and she held a postdoctoral position in Peking University from 2001 to 2003. She has been the associate professor in Institute of Zoology since 2003 and her major is developmental biology and cellular biology, focusing on somatic cell nuclear transfer, the mechanism of reprogramming, stem cells and therapeutic cloning. Since 1991, she has been in charge or taken part in more than 10 key projects of National High-Tec Project (863 Program), National Basic Research Program (973 Program), National Scientific Foundation, the Eighth and Ninth Five-Year Key Project of Chinese Agriculture Ministry, etc. She has published more than 30 articles and been honored First prize of Technology Advancement Award in Heilongjiang Province, Second prize of Technology Advancement Award in Haerbin.
