Research Interests:

Dr. Wang engaged in the study of stem cell fate regulation and nerve regeneration, especially in brain repair of neurological diseases such as Parkinson's disease and stroke.

His focus is:

1. Cell fate specification and how to efficiently drive controlled differentiation of human stem cells into neural subtypes

2. Development of neural organoids for disease modeling and drug screening

3. Development of clinical-grade neuronal cell drugs for use in brain repair.
