Resume:

Dr Sun received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Macau in September 2017. In October 2017, he joined the Group of Genome Engineering Technology as an assistant investigator. From November 2022 to October 2023, he conducted research as a visiting scholar at the University of Strasbourg in France, funded by China Scholarship Council (CSC). He was promoted to associate investigator in 2025.
