Resume: |
Dr. Qi Li, Associate professor of Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. My research focuses on investigating the resistance mechanisms mediated by non-coding RNAs during host-pathogen interactions, with current emphasis on spatial regulation through membraneless organelles (RNA granules). Research findings have been published in leading international journals including Science Advances, Nature Communications, and The Plant Cell. My researches have been supported by Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Education: 2000-2004: B.Sc. in Life Sciences, XinJiang University 2004-2012: Ph.D. in Developmental Biology, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences / Institute of Botany , CAS Employment: 2013-2017: Post Doc., School of Life Sciences, Peking University 2017-2023: Assistant professor of Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. 2023-ongoing: Associate professor of Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. |
Research Interests: |
Investigation of RNA functions in host-pathogen interactions. Research Direction 1: Exploring the regulatory mechanisms associated with membraneless organelles that function as spatial compartments for RNA storage and metabolism. Research Direction 2: Tissue-specific resistance mechanisms. |
