LABIOCEM operated well after the establishment. In 2007, LABIOCEM held the first academic annual conference. Over 100 experts and scholars attended the conference, from institutions such as Academy of Agriculture of France, French National Institute for Health and Medical Research, Peking University, Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health, etc. Twenty-one professors gave oral presentations at the plenary sessions. The conference made great success, and laid a good foundation for further cooperation and collaboration.
