IOZ has made significant progress in scientific research and published many important academic papers in recent years. According to statistics from Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC), IOZ published 272 first-author SCI papers last year, among which 106 were JCR TOP 15% papers. The number of MEDLINE papers published by IOZ scientists rank tenth in Chinese research institutions. Compared with the year 2009, the number of SCI papers published by IOZ scientists in Top15% periodicals in 2013 increases 107.84%; the average IF per paper increases 45.25%.
